Sleeping

  Before I entered college, I used to go to bed before 11. Gradually the time I go to bed started to be pushed later more and more. Until now I had turned into a sophomore, the time I went to bed was always around midnight before sunrise.
  Though I tried several times to avoid this situation to happen, the effort I made was in vain.

  Being in the DAFL student association, works and activities kept popping out. Schedule was filled with notes and barely had any hour empty. Also I had a TA job to do, spending one or two hour every day filled up the time after dinner. By the time I finally stepped into my room, it was already past 10. This is the main time I can handle my schoolwork, but it was hard to focus on since the long day I had been through.

  So the most I cherish is the time for sleeping. As long as there is an hour I will close my eyes right away and can fall asleep within three seconds undoubtedly. If I had my weekends off, I almost spend my time sleeping at home to power up my energy. It reminds me of my brother who did the same as me before which I can't understand the reason. However, I now can stand in his shoe.
  I have nothing big to ask for but a vacation or days off to sleep well and long.

Sophomore

Sophomore = suffer more?

  This was an interesting metaphor that I saw few days ago from my friend. The moment I saw this  I burst out laughter. My head nodded quickly.
  Being a sophomore not only added my schoolwork but also change my daily routine. I chose to become one of the DAFL student association member and also do some part time TA for Joanne. These made a huge difference during my second year of college life.
  When I was still a freshman, I took few courses and spent my time doing meaningless things or just sleeping in the dorm. I went back to my hometown, Taichung, every week.

   After a year, things had totally changed.

   During my leisure time, I spent time with the freshmen in design department for the purpose of enhancing their English speaking ability. That was my main job of being a TA for Joanne. After dinner time, we often had meetings to plan activities for our DAFL department. Sometimes we would invite other department to hold some activities with us which took more time to plan and hold meetings. I seldom had time to take a small break or hang out with friends.

   "Do you regret being one of the DAFL student association member?", a friend of mine asked.
   "How could you get tired on things you like to do?", I responded.

  Although some people couldn't realize what we are doing, I believe as long as I had the passion and energy then I could do anything I want. Nothing can stop you to move on.

brand new start

   It has been a long time since the last time I type in a blog. I remember we used to have a blog called "wretch" during our high school times until Facebook became popular between teenagers. Writing this reminds me of the old days. Although Facebook is more easy to use and browse, writing a blog is better to say out what all you think with such a big page. Things just fade away time to time, and this is what we can't stop or change.

  Since memory started come back to me, I went back to my old blog and browse it over again. I can't help but laugh out when watching those posts. Remembering what I was thinking at that time is a special experience. What happened in the posts were just like yesterday.

  The picture under is my classmates in high school. Although we all studied in different colleges, we still get together once in a while or chat online. Looking back at the past makes me realize how much I miss them.
